Deciding how to continue
After the first 3 weeks of prototyping we finally had to decide how to continue with the project. We had to either decide to continue with one of our previous prototypes, make a new game mixing certain aspects from most of them or do something completely new.
The final decision was to stick with one of the prototypes we made, more specifically the one that is set in a dark forest with bears. We decided on this one since it is the one that our playtesters had the most investment in. It generated fear and tension in them since they didn't when a bear would com for them so they had to pay extra attention.
We also got some feedback on how to improve the game that we ended up adding like different kinds of guns, reduce the health of the enemies and finally change the oint light that follos the mouse to an area light that rotates around the player to help build up tension.
Those were all the changes we made the fourth week of work.
